On occasion of the Privacy Symposium conference organized in Venice by the Ca’ Foscari University, in the Industry Session: Blockchain, Privacy and Use Cases, chaired on 18 April by Latif Latid of the University of Luxemburg, Ramon Alcarria of the Technical University of Madrid presented the best practice of the use of Blockchain technologies in food sector that have been implemented in the framework of the Cities2030 project.
More specifically, it has been highlighted that the use of Blockchain technologies have reduced the number of intermediaries in the food supply chain, whilst strengthening trust relations among all the stakeholders of the same sector. The session was attended also by Daniele Sferra, who represented the cities2030 project coordinator.
